Unplugged Fun: Forts and Huts

Besides bug hotels, the kids have also each built a fort in the yard.  They did it all by themselves.  Kara and Tristan spend hours in their little huts and when it rains I have to force them to get inside the house.  They used logs and sticks they found on our rental property.  Encourage your kids to look around where you live to see what they can build.

Initially Tristan built his fort in the lower part of the property but then he moved it to be closer to Kara's hut. So sweet!
